About Us

BAMCO Africa is a pioneering Business Development, Medical, and Clinical Operations (BAMCO) healthcare company committed to providing access to innovative therapies for patients in Sub-Saharan Africa. At BAMCO, we believe healthcare access is a fundamental human right. Guided by this conviction, our mission is to contribute meaningfully to ongoing and future efforts in SSA, striving to establish and sustain equitable access to healthcare awareness, screening, diagnosis, and treatment for all.

The need for this work is urgent. In Sub-Saharan Africa, the estimated 5-year survival rate for breast cancer is close to or less than 50%. This means that, unlike in developed economies where 9 in 10 women survive breast cancer after five years, in SSA, 1 in 2 women diagnosed with the disease will lose their lives within that time frame. At BAMCO Africa, we are dedicated to changing these statistics, ensuring that every patient has access to the care and treatment they need for better health outcomes

BAMCO is incorporated both in the USA and Rwanda, and serves Sub-Saharan Africa from its Rwanda Operations.

Our Services

  • Access to Medicines: Facilitate partnerships with public and private payers to increase the availability of essential medicines across Sub-Saharan Africa.

  • Clinical Trials: Promote inclusive clinical research through the organization and facilitation of clinical trials in diverse communities.

Mission & Vision

Bridging the gaps in healthcare is crucial in a world where healthcare systems differ and where a person's birthplace and place of residence frequently determine their health outcomes and access to care.

  • To make the standard of care medicines affordable and available in Sub Saharan Africa through partnerships, medical educations, and clinical research.

  • Our vision is that all patients in Sub Saharan Africa deserve better and need to have equitable and timely access to the latest innovative treatments that save and improve their lives.
